Their choice has sparked considerations throughout Nigeria, with some netizens accusing the lawmakers of plotting to rig the 2027 election.
Amid the backlash, the Kogi Central Senator in a put up on her Fb web page on Thursday stated she helps the now rejected invoice.
Based on her, turning down the proposed change to the electoral legislation could not go effectively with the nation’s democracy.
She wrote, “I, Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan helps the real-time Digital Transmission of outcomes. Failure of such stealth is a deadly assault on Nigeria’s democracy.”
