Samha Inuwa, a widely known actress within the Northern Nigerian movie trade, Kannywood, has been arrested and detained by the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) over an alleged abuse of the Naira.
Inuwa was taken into custody by operatives of the EFCC’s Kano Zonal Directorate on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
The arrest adopted the circulation of a viral video on social media through which the actress was seen utilizing Naira notes to wipe mucus from her nostril.
Confirming the event in an announcement, the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, stated the video prompted swift motion from the Fee.
