The Federal Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared a complete of N1.969 trillion among the many Federal Authorities, states and native authorities councils from federation income that accrued in December 2025.
This was disclosed in a communiqué issued by FAAC on the finish of its month-to-month assembly on Monday.
Based on the communiqué, the overall distributable income comprised N1.084 trillion in statutory income, N846.507 billion from Worth Added Tax (VAT), and N38.110 billion from the Digital Cash Switch Levy (EMTL).

The native authorities councils acquired N513.272 billion, and N96.083 billion, representing 13 per cent of mineral income, was shared among the many benefiting states as derivation income.
A breakdown of the N1.084 trillion distributable statutory income confirmed that the Federal Authorities acquired N520.807 billion, the states acquired N264.160 billion, whereas native governments acquired N203.656 billion. The oil-producing states acquired N96.083 billion as derivation income.
From the N846.507 billion VAT income, the Federal Authorities acquired N126.976 billion, the states acquired N423.254 billion, whereas native authorities councils acquired N296.277 billion.
