Paul Ibe, media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has blamed the loss of life of fast-rising Nigerian musician, Ifunanya Nwangene, on poor healthcare amenities within the nation.
DAILY POST studies that the Abuja-based musician, a soprano singer with the Amemuso Choir, died on Saturday on the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja, following a snake chunk.
Reacting to the unlucky incident, Ibe mentioned in a put up on his official X deal with on Sunday that Nigeria “occurred” to the younger woman.
He puzzled why such a public hospital within the nation’s capital wouldn’t be geared up with snake antivenom.
He wrote: “Quick-rising singer Ifunanya Nwangene, 26, was not killed by a snake. She was killed by Nigeria, or as is commonly mentioned, Nigeria occurred to her.
“To think about {that a} public hospital within the Federal Capital Territory doesn’t have snake antivenom, in a supposedly high-burden space for snakebite in Nigeria.
“In the meantime, anti-opposition is on the market in nice amount.”
