    Normalcy returns as FCTA workers resume after Court stopped strike action

    Actions on the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) and its affiliate MDAs on Wednesday have begun to select up as employees resumed after the ruling of the Nationwide Industrial Courtroom of Nigeria on Tuesday, ordering the suspension of the employees’ strike.

    It might be recalled that the Nationwide Industrial Courtroom of Nigeria presided over by Justice E. D. Subilim, ordered that the strike embarked upon by employees beneath the Joint Union Motion Committee (JUAC) be suspended forthwith to permit dialogue to proceed.

    Following the ruling, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, urged employees to right away resume responsibility, stressing that whereas the appropriate to protest is recognised in a democracy, court docket orders should be revered.

    To this finish, the Performing Head of the Civil Service of the FCT, Mrs. Nancy Sabanti, issued a round directing all Secretariats, Departments and Companies (SDAs) to open and strictly preserve workers attendance registers to make sure compliance with the court docket order.
