Former Tremendous Eagles assistant coach, Simon Kalika has insisted that Nigeria’s absence on the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup match will have an effect on the competitors.
Kalika mentioned this whereas evaluating the Nigerian group to that of Brazil and Spain, respectively.
“These [Nigerian] gamers play in prime European golf equipment and are at all times a pleasure to look at collectively on the largest soccer stage, the World Cup,” Kalika instructed Full Sports activities.
“Not being on the World Cup is like protecting their skills with a stone, so the world can’t see them. That impacts the match.
“Nigeria is like Brazil and Spain. Not seeing them on the World Cup impacts the competitors commercially and makes the sport look boring.
“Nigeria has the gamers and will at all times be there [at the World Cup].”
