A climber on Oregon’s Mount Hood was discovered lifeless Sunday, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Workplace says.
The workplace says it bought a report at about 9:45 a.m. {that a} climber had fallen.
Witnesses who known as 911 mentioned they noticed the climber fall roughly 300 toes close to Satan’s Kitchen, the workplace says, and when rescuers bought to the climber, she or he was lifeless.
The climber’s title will not be launched till his or her household is notified, the workplace added.
Mount Hood is Oregon’s highest peak, at greater than 11,200 toes. Satan’s Kitchen is close to the highest of the mountain.
