Ebenezer Akinsanmiro might be a part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Pisa SC head coach Alberto Gilardino has confirmed.
Gilardino said that Akinsanmiro will be a part of the Tremendous Eagles’ camp after Pisa’s Serie A conflict with Lecce on Friday.
“Akinsanmiro? After Lecce (on December 12), he’ll miss a number of matches,” Gilardino was quoted by FC Inter1908.
The 21-year-old was named in Nigeria’s 54-man provisional listing for AFCON 2025 final week.
Will probably be the midfielder’s maiden invitation to the Tremendous Eagles.
The previous Remo Stars participant has caught the attention together with his spectacular performances for Pisa this season. He’s on mortgage at Pisa from Serie A giants Inter Milan.
The Tremendous Eagles will open camp for the competitors on Monday, December 15.
