PORT HARCOURT: Rivers State Governor Siminialayi Fubara has succumbed to strain by the State Home of Meeting led by Martins Amaewhule over the situation of public faculties within the state.
The State Meeting had, throughout its plenary, penultimate Thursday, expressed displeasure over the situation of secondary and first faculties within the state.
However on Monday, Fubara countered the lawmakers, noting that the decay in public faculties didn’t begin along with his administration.
Nevertheless, the governor, on Tuesday, ordered the fast recall of 1,000 lecturers whom the federal government employed in 2023.
This was contained in a public announcement signed by Sam Ogeh, Chairman, State Common Fundamental Training Board.

“To this finish, all of the affected lecturers are required to report back to the Rivers State Common Fundamental Training Board (RSUBEB) for the revalidation train.
