Nollywood throughout Nkechi Blessing Sunday has opened up on a number of the challenges she encountered firstly of her profession.
That includes in a current episode of The Sincere Bunch podcast, the film star revealed that the foremost problem she confronted was outlandish scripts.
She recalled that she was given a script to sleep with a canine however she rejected it as a result of she felt it will create a unfavorable impression on her picture if she accepts it as her first position in Nollywood.
“Regardless of being a newcomer, I used to be given a script to sleep with a canine. I rejected it as a result of I can’t begin off my profession like that. Think about my first ever film, I’m sleeping with a canine. It doesn’t make sense. It’s going to be a tag as a result of no matter you begin with is what folks would affiliate you with. I didn’t wish to be famend as somebody who sleeps with canine in films.
“So, I rejected that script. However instantly I threw it down, so many women grabbed it. I’m undecided any of them are within the limelight immediately,” she acknowledged.
Nkechi Blessing stated after she left the manufacturing venue, she met veteran Nollywood filmmaker, Emeka Duru, who supplied to work together with her.
She added that Duru finally gave her the chance to made her debut within the movie ‘Via The Hearth’ by Imem Isong.
