His transfer follows his July resignation from the Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP), which had been mired in a protracted inside disaster.

Atiku resigned from the PDP two weeks after opposition politicians adopted and unveiled the ADC as their political platform forward of the 2027 presidential election.

    Why Atiku dumped the PDP

Hours after his media aide, Paul Ibe, introduced his resignation from the PDP, Atiku defined the motive behind the transfer in a letter dated July 16.

Within the letter addressed to the Chairman of PDP Jada 1 Ward in Adamawa State, the previous Vice President

cited irreconcilable variations and a shift within the get together’s course away from its founding ideas.

“I’m writing to formally resign my membership from the Individuals’s Democratic Social gathering (PDP) with instant impact,” he said.

Atiku wished the get together and its management properly of their future endeavors and thanked them for the help and alternatives he obtained through the years.

“I want the Social gathering and its management all the perfect sooner or later. Thanks as soon as once more for the alternatives and help,” he concluded.
