The Senator Nenadi Usman-led Labour Occasion (LP) is searching for the arrest of the Performing Chairman of the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC), Mrs. Might Agbamuche-Mbu, for alleged legal collusion with Julius Abure.

Usman made this demand in an announcement titled “INEC’s Performing Chair in Felony Collusion with Julius Abure Over Faux Court docket Order – She Should Be Arrested”, signed by her spokesman, Ken Asogwa, in Abuja, on Thursday.

The get together mentioned it has uncovered yet one more brazen assault on our democracy – this time orchestrated by Mrs. Might Agbamuche-Mbu, in connivance with the previous Nationwide Chairman of the LP, Mr Julius Abure.

Asogwa described the choice of the Ag. INEC boss to ask Abure to final Tuesday’s assembly with the management of the eighteen (18) registered political events regardless of a subsisting Supreme Court docket judgement as reckless.

He mentioned, “In her defence, she said that INEC was merely obeying a court docket order, claiming that if the faction led by Senator Nenadi Usman offered a legitimate judgement of their favour, the Fee would comply accordingly.

“Nonetheless, our unbiased and painstaking investigation has revealed that no such court docket order exists.

“Whereas it’s true that Mr Abure filed a go well with towards INEC in Swimsuit No: CV/1914/2025, earlier than Hon. Justice Kayode Agunloye of Court docket 40, FCT Excessive Court docket, Gwagwalada, our formal request for a Licensed True Copy (CTC) of any order purportedly recognising him as Chairman was met with a categorical affirmation from the court docket that no such order was ever granted.”

The get together challenged Mrs. Might Agbamuche-Mbu to supply “the so-called court docket order” that she relied upon to accord recognition to Julius Abure.

He mentioned, “The reality is that INEC’s appearing management has wilfully relied on a fabricated and non-existent order to justify an unlawful and politically motivated act.

“Though it could have nonetheless been null and void even when such an order existed, particularly within the face of the Supreme Court docket’s unambiguous judgement of 4th April 2025, which conclusively upheld Senator Nenadi Usman’s management of the Labour Occasion.”

Whereas urging its members nationwide to arrange for a peaceable demonstration, the get together urged the incoming INEC Chairman to deal with what it known as “this injustice” and purge the system of individuals who connive with politicians to subvert justice.
