    Dangote Refinery reduces PMS price, set to begin direct supply

    The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has introduced it can start the direct distribution of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to filling stations throughout Nigeria from Monday, September 15, 2025, with a corresponding discount in pump costs.

    In a press release on Thursday, the corporate stated the gantry value has been decreased to N820 per litre, with retail costs various throughout states. 

    Gasoline will promote at N841 per litre in Lagos and different South-Western states, whereas Abuja, Rivers, Delta, Edo and Kwara states will see pump costs at N851 per litre.

    “The primary section of the deployment will cowl the Federal Capital Territory, Lagos, Kwara, Delta, Edo, Rivers and South West states, with nationwide enlargement deliberate as further vans are delivered,” the assertion stated.

    The refinery defined that the programme will depend on compressed pure fuel (CNG)-powered transportation, which it stated would considerably cut back prices. 

    “This transition to CNG-powered transportation is predicted to avoid wasting the Nigerian economic system over N1.8 trillion yearly. The transfer is designed to chop gas distribution prices, cut back pump costs, and ease inflationary pressures,” the corporate famous.

    In response to the Dangote Group, the initiative is predicted to learn over 42 million micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by reducing vitality prices and boosting revenue margins.
