Conservative activist and Turning Factors USA co-founder Charlie Kirk was shot Wednesday and the suspect is in custody, mentioned Utah Valley College, which hosted the occasion.
“At the moment at about 12:10 a shot was fired on the visiting speaker, Charlie Kirk,” the college posted on social media. “He was hit and brought from the situation by his safety. Campus police is investigating, a suspect is in custody.”
Kirk was talking to college students from an out of doors tent when he was shot. A Utah Valley College alert mentioned a single shot was fired on campus towards a visiting speaker and a suspect is in custody.
The FBI is responding to the scene.
Kirk is an in depth ally of President Trump, who posted on social media about it.
