    Widespread Nigerian music video director Clarence Peters has revealed that he forgave his father, veteran musician Shina Peters, even earlier than having a dialog with him after realising that he had made each single mistake his father made.

    Talking in a current episode of the Afropolitan podcast, Peters disclosed that he really turned an grownup after the realisation and forgiving his dad in 2014/2015.

    The 41-year-old defined that the rationale his personal errors weren’t as catastrophic as his father’s was due to time and expertise.

    He stated, “I made each single mistake my father made. I’m simply fortunate that point and tech saved me from it being as catastrophic as his personal. So, the second I realised that I forgave him immediately even earlier than we had a dialog. That will be 2014/15. That was once I turned an grownup. That was once I started my journey into maturity. I’m nonetheless on the journey. You’re all the time on the journey.”

    Clarence Peters is the son of legendary musician Shina Peters and veteran Nollywood actress Clarion Chukwura.

    Peters as soon as opened up in an interview that his mom wished to abort him whereas he was in her womb however modified her thoughts due to her perception that he was the reincarnation of her father, whom she misplaced when she was 11 years outdated.

    In a chat with Chude in February 2025, Peters acknowledged he would have beloved to “decide my dad for a way he handled my mom however I’m not ready to.”

    He additionally stated he tried to not be like his father with ladies “however I’m not good.”
