Veteran Nollywood actress and film producer, Ego Boyo, has refuted the viral assumption that her husband restricted her from appearing.
Talking in a video of her newest interview with media character Chude Jideonwo on Wednesday, Ego revealed why she left appearing amid fame.
Opposite to the general public assumption that she was restricted by her husband, Ego acknowledged that it was her private determination to stop appearing for film manufacturing.
“I left appearing after I discovered that I loved producing greater than appearing. It was boring. The blogs wished it to be one thing like my husband banned me from it, they wished it to be sensational and it was not.”
DAILY POST studies that the 56-year-old, who began appearing within the early Nineteen Eighties, turned well-known following her position in Checkmate, an early 90s collection.
