The Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) has revealed ongoing efforts to woo former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, again to its ranks forward of the 2027 basic elections.
Ibrahim Abdullahi, Deputy Nationwide Publicity Secretary of the PDP, made this identified on Thursday throughout an interview on Come up Information.
“Peter Obi is our product, and the PDP certainly needs to get him again. He’s a really nice capital for any political celebration, and any political celebration that may have him might be to their benefit,” Abdullahi said.
Obi, who was the PDP’s vice-presidential candidate within the 2019 election, left the celebration in 2022 to hitch the Labour Celebration, the place he clinched the presidential ticket and contested within the 2023 elections.
