The Government Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Native Authorities Space, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof-Oloyede, has been declared the winner of the 2025 Lagos Native Authorities Election held on Saturday, July 12.
The Lagos State Impartial Electoral Fee, LASIEC, Returning Officer for the council, Mr Joseph Olorode, introduced the outcomes on Sunday, confirming that Otunba Almaroof-Oloyede, who contested underneath the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, polled 64,300 votes to safe victory.
His closest rival, Ridwan Akinbiyi of the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP, garnered 3,247 votes, whereas the Younger Progressive Get together, YPP, candidate polled 156 votes.
With this declaration, Otunba Almaroof-Oloyede has been returned elected and can proceed in workplace for an additional time period, following a landslide win.
