The Lagos State Ministries of Youth and Social Improvement, and Tourism, Arts and Tradition, along with the College of Lagos School of Arts, Federal School of Schooling Akoka, and the African Inventive Artist Community, have joined forces to host a youth-focused leisure and empowerment occasion titled “Lagos Road Picture Stroll Nigeria.”
Based on the organisers, the occasion goals to equip youths with self-sufficient inventive abilities in pictures.
The Lagos Road Picture Walks was formally launched on the College of Lagos School of Inventive Arts Corridor in Akoka, Lagos, with a lot fanfare in the course of the “World Images Day Press Convention.”
Mr. Richard Idowu, who represented the everlasting secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Social Improvement, Mr. Sala A.I,
acknowledged that the ministry is partnering with the organisers to have interaction younger creatives, notably college students and rising photographers, in utilizing pictures as a device for self-expression, entrepreneurship, and youth-driven social and financial improvement.

Prof. Mudashiru, urged inventive artists and photographers to consciously showcase the most effective of Nigeria to the world. He emphasised the significance of countering damaging perceptions and selling youth empowerment by self-sufficiency within the artwork of pictures.
Celebrated award-winning video producer Segun Ajayi, the mission coordinator, advised LEADERSHIP Weekend on the unveiling that Lagos Road Picture Stroll 2025 is “a significant initiative for cultural and inventive youth empowerment, aimed toward fostering self-sufficiency by the artwork of pictures.”
He added that the occasion will coincide with the celebration of World Images Day on August 19, 2025. “This 12 months’s core imaginative and prescient is to empower youth by visible storytelling. The cultural showcase will spotlight Lagos’s wealthy cultural and concrete identification, that includes cultural specialists from Nigeria and past, photograph exhibitions, style shoots, music performances, spoken phrase, and avenue artwork, making a vibrant visible journey,” Ajayi defined.
