    8,000 FCTA civil servants to write CBT promotional exams

    Greater than 8,000 Civil Servants within the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) will sit for promotion examinations this week.

    The promotion examinations are scheduled to carry for 5 days, ranging from Tuesday, November 25 to Saturday, November 29, 2025, on the Nationwide Open College Research Centre alongside Kubwa Street, Abuja.

    Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Fee, Emeka Ezeh, stated on Sunday that the over 8,000 civil servants reduce throughout 165 cadres.

    He stated the FCT Minister, as a part of workers motivation, accepted the request of the FCT Civil Service Fee to shortly conclude the 2024 promotion train of FCT/FCDA staff throughout all cadres.

    He additional acknowledged that the promotion that can be performed, utilizing the Pc-Primarily based Check (CBT), including that this may deepen the newly launched digital platform for promotion examinations that was accepted by the FCT Minister.

    “Recall that the FCT underneath the management of Barr. Nyesom Wike blazed the path as the primary Fee in Nigeria to conduct his promotion by CBT.
