    35-year-old man docked for allegedly stealing motorcycle worth N1.3m

     A 35-year-old man, Ismaila Lukman, on Friday appeared earlier than an Ado-Ekiti Magistrates’ Court docket for allegedly stealing a Bajaj bike valued at N1.3 million.
    Lukman, whose handle was not supplied, is standing trial on two counts of stealing and breach of peace.
    The prosecutor, Insp. Olubu Apata instructed the court docket that the defendant dedicated the offences on July 16 at roughly 3:30 p.m. on the Oja Oba market in Ado-Ekiti.
    He alleged that the defendant stole a Bajaj bike valued at N1.3 million belonging to the complainant, Jimoh Opeyemi.
    The prosecutor defined that the complainant had given the bike to the defendant on a hire-purchase settlement, however had transformed the bike to his private use.
    Apata additionally alleged that the defendant had performed himself in a fashion more likely to trigger a breach of the peace.
    In keeping with him, the offences contravene Sections 302 and 181(d) of the Prison Regulation of Ekiti State, 2021.
