A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Farouk Aliyu says the 2027 presidential race shouldn’t be about Nigerians however an “elite contest”.
In an interview on Come up TV on Monday, Aliyu said that the coalition of opposition leaders plotting to unseat President Bola Tinubu is not going to succeed.
Based on him, the opposition leaders, who not too long ago adopted the African Democratic Congress as an official platform to run the 2027 election have been members of the ruling occasion.
He stated, “The coalition is merely a bunch of former APC members who’ve left the occasion.
