Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has met with the Nationwide Chairman of the Motion Democratic Occasion, ADP Yabagi Yusuf Sani, and different senior executives.
The assembly reportedly happened on Saturday at Atiku’s residence in Abuja.
The assembly is approaching the heels of rumours of an alliance between some opposition figures forward of the 2027 presidential election.
There are rumours that former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi and his Kano State counterpart, Rabiu Kwankwaso could get the African Democratic Congress, ADC, ticket to problem President Bola Tinubu.
The transfer could not favour Atiku, who can be eyeing the ADC presidential ticket.
Nevertheless, the ADP Nationwide Chairman, Yabagi Yusuf stated the assembly with Atiku was not a couple of merger with any social gathering.
