The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspected kidnappers linked to a menace to kidnap a resident of Track Native Authorities Space in Adamawa State.
In an announcement issued on Sunday, the command’s spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje, acknowledged, “That is following a grievance acquired from one Hassan Musa Dabutu of Track LGA, who reported receiving threatening calls from an unknown subscriber, that they’re coming to kidnap him until he pays a sure amount of cash.
“The complainant additionally raised concern that his household had earlier suffered a collection of kidnappings, the place a complete sum of N20m was paid as ransom to safe the discharge of kidnapped relations.”
He acknowledged that the Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, directed operatives from the State Intelligence Division to start an investigation into the menace allegations.

The assertion added, “Fortunately, a 15-year-old suspect, Abdulraman Musa of Nguru, and Adamu Orte, a 60-year-old man from Machina, Yobe State, have been arrested.”
He identified that the investigation is ongoing and that the suspects will likely be prosecuted after the investigation is concluded.
The CP reiterated the command’s dedication to making sure the protection and safety of all residents within the state.
